I am an exemplary freelance writer, journalist and editor, with over eight years of experience under my belt.
I am passionate about the written word, and have essentially made reading and writing my life.
I am fully familiar with North American, British, European and Australasian audiences and markets, having worked with many clients from each of these geographical regions. I'm accustomed to the nuances of the English language in each of these locales, and can switch seamlessly between British and American English.
I have been the sole editor for several websites, have written thousands of published articles, worked with some prestigious companies from all over the globe, and have also written and edited several books. I have now been the author or editor of six book-length texts, and there are more in the pipeline for the future.
I have also particularly specialised in writing on technology, economics, sport, nutrition and healthcare, but I am a superb researcher and can turn my hand to any conceivable subject.
My work has been published in the mainstream media. I have had hundreds of articles published by Yahoo!, and wrote regular columns for the site as well. I have previously worked as the editor of the Healthcare Times; a healthcare news website. I have also edited the Clinical Career journal, which is aimed at healthcare professionals.
I was the editor of Informucate, a compendium news site, for 18 months. During this time, I was the editor of Rebecca Falconer, a former Al-Jazeera, Guardian and Huffington Post journalist, who is currently the News Director for Stuff in New Zealand.
I was ranked in the top 20 writers in the world on Elance when that online platform was active, and am one of the most successful writers on the Upwork site.
I'm also a hugely experienced copywriter, having worked with literally hundreds of companies. I regularly work with the Digital Marketing agency NeoMam Studios. I have recently completed projects with Adobe, Quick Quid, Home Advisor, Net Credit, OnStride, Budget Direct and Headway Capital.
When I'm not writing, I enjoy watching and playing sport, eating out, and walking in the countryside. I played tennis to professional standard, and was part of the first comprehensive (state) school team to reach the British finals.
